GPU Performance Engineer

Job Description

The GPU performance team at Intel is looking to hire an engineer experienced in analysing and improving the performance across different GPU products. The main focus will be on workload analysis and competitive studies.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze modern workloads and games, do deep dives at the algorithm level within different sub-passes and profile the performance aspects of such an algorithm

• Keep up to date with any upcoming rendering techniques, as well as new gaming engines

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• BSc in computer science/engineering or proven industry experience in the rendering domain (7+ years)

• Good knowledge of GPU architecture and graphics rendering pipeline and APIs

• Solid knowledge of SW APIs such as DX12/Vulkan

• Familiarity with shader programming languages e.g., HLSL

• Strong experience with Python and C++

• Hands on experience with GPU analysis tools such as PIX, RenderDoc, etc.

• Experience on benchmarking using different GPU vendors

• Great communication and collaboration skills (in English)

Nice to have:

• Experience with modern graphics rendering algorithms

Working Model
