Analog Power Intern
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the DCAIs Custom Design Engineering (CDE) team as an Analog Power intern. This position will be part of a larger a cross functional Architecture/Engineering team (i.e., Board/ System, Thermal/Mechanical, SI/PI/PD, etc.) responsible to help Co-Engineering Reference Design Systems with strategic customers .
The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with various engineering disciplines (i.e., Thermal, Mechanical, Analog, FW, BIOS, SW, Validation, PnP) throughout the Design, and Validation phases -- driving a high performing/quality platform to MP (mass production).
Analyze electrical test/validation data and correlate to internal data on internal platforms, determine opportunities for optimizations.
Design and analyze the power subsystem ensuring the system meets both internal and external requirements (system, board, and component level) and is optimized for the Cloud (internal reference platforms and/or Co-Engineered CSP platforms).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
The candidate must be studying a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering or related STEM field.
Basic experience in:
Hardware design, from Schematics capture to PCB Layout.
Electrical simulation
Power electronics, Analog electronics.
Digital electronics such as Microcontrollers, FPGA, Logic gates, state machines
Lab equipment, Digital multimeters, function generator, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, power supplies.
Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written).
Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in México.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience with Power supply design and test.
Experience with transient, AC and DC simulation, worst case analysis, susceptibility analysis, frequency response.
Programming skills such as Python, MATLAB, BATCH.
Board design.
