Job Description
The System Simulation and Modeling (SSM) team is part of Intel Client Computer Group (CCG). We are transforming the way our product firmware and software are developed, integrated, and tested in a modern distributed cloud computing environment. We build high-performance system simulators using Simics that serve as the product of our future. Great simulators result in leadership products by simulating our architecture and software before committing to our product execution. We are looking for a software engineering intern for Simics modeling of Datacenter Products.
The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
Software development and automation, driving initiatives and projects from design through implementation and deployment, system debug, researching and support.
Designing, architecting, and developing system simulation solutions.
Exercising judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.
Assess risks and identify efficient approaches to deliver high quality solutions in timely manner.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Active student in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related engineering field.
At least 1 year of experience in software development and/or software validation (university projects count).
At least 1 year of experience in one of the following languages: C++, Python, or C.
Intermediate to Advanced English level and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Simics modelling, QEMU or other software simulation technologies.
Experience in Power Management technology, Debug and related IPs
Experience navigating through product architecture's datasheets.
Experience in Datacenter architecture and cloud technologies.
Experience in system software development.
