GAM Benefits Program Owner
Job Description
Come join the Intel Greater Americas Health Benefits Team as an HR Program Owner. The GAM Benefits team is responsible for oversight of health and risk benefits in Canada, Latin America, and the U.S. As a key contributor to the team, you will own assigned benefit programs end-to-end, partnering with key stakeholders and suppliers to design, plan, and execute benefit operations aligned to Intel’s Global Benefit Strategy, legal requirements, and corporate guidelines.
The GAM Benefits Program Owner is responsible for program and supplier oversight of specific Intel health benefit programs. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supplier Management: Includes setting clear expectations and then holding suppliers accountable to performance expectations. Scope includes setting strategic direction and influencing the care delivery and technical road-maps. Responsible for setting key performance indicators including performance scorecards. Manages operational issues through to resolution, including root cause analysis to determine best short and long term solutions as well as driving continuous improvement.
- Project Management/Plan Administration: Responsible for the overall plan administration, including partnering with Benefit Design Team to clarify and define plan scope and requirements, build system requirements, test, launch, and stabilize programs.
- Participant Communications: Owns all communication and content, including Circuit and supplier web content. Also includes creation of call center scripts, targeted e-mail communications, and updates to benefit plan documents
- Program Compliance: Responsible for ensuring programs are administered according to plan design and compliant with all privacy and local government, as well as internal compliance of programs.
- Innovation: Develop innovative solutions to problems utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies and judgement.
- Partnering: Work closely with partner business units and suppliers to manage programs; this includes development of key messaging and communication material
- Quality: Ensures that quality standards and budget constraints are met. Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate. Prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions. Influences business unit or cross-organizational strategies relevant to program goals.
- Contract Negotiations: Supports Procurement in the sourcing and supplier selection process. Responsible for building the Scope of Work as well as helping determine best pricing when comparing supplier administrative capabilities and building supplier scorecard metrics.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR discipline or related field.
- 5+ years' of relevant experience.
- 3+ years' experience in Benefits Administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, including a competency with v-lookup, filtering, and pivot tables
- Strong data analysis skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Leveraging such analysis to find solutions to complex problems.
- Should have experience working complex employee and plan participant issues, ideally in the pharmacy benefit space.
- Experience with Protected Health Information and privacy requirements.
- Project management experience/knowledge.

Working Model
