Global Consumer Category, Strategic Insights and Enablement Intern Analyst

Job Description

This role will be part of the Global Consumer Category Sales team, reporting into the Strategic Insights and Enablement (SI and E) team. This intern will be assigned specific projects to further the mission and vision.

This is an intern position for 4 months or more.

This role is global in nature, and will collaborate with teammates located in EMEA, US and Asia. Some responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Analyze and prepare insights and recommendations using quantitative and qualitative business data, covering a wide array of domain specific subjects and specialized topics.

• Identifies patterns in the data that contribute to the understanding of the market; transforms data into actionable insights to support decision making and impacting improvements in business practices.

• Assesses strategies by analyzing industry trends and markets.

• Builds compelling data stories, translates data into insights, provides recommendations and options, and measures business impact of decisions made.

• Advises on analytical projects for senior leadership, often influencing decision making through compelling narratives and storytelling.

• Explores new and innovative visual approaches and techniques such as interactive dashboards for better data storytelling.

• Designs, develops, tests, and deploys business intelligence scripts as required and performs detailed analytics.

• Conducts business analysis, collects business requirements, and translates them into business intelligence solutions leveraging best practices, and helps customers build data acumen.

• Collaborates with a variety of business/functional stakeholders and bridges to technical staff, including Data Engineers and Data Architects to build analytics and business intelligence requirements in the design stage.

As a successful candidate, you must be available to collaborate with teammates across the globe. Depending on location, this may mean later evening and/or early morning meetings. Flexibility is a must.

Qualifications

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.  Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a master’s or PhD degree, or a bachelor’s degree with three years’ related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a bachelor’s degree and less than three years’ experience.   

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor´s in business, data science, computer science or related field

• 6+ months of working experience or practical knowledge in Python, Power BI, and proficient in Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ months of practical application of AI solutions on Power BI and Excel and Machine Learning experience on big data sets.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $40,000.00-$108,000.00 (Hourly Role)
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
