Job Description


In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024, with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future. This will give Altera the autonomy and flexibility it needs to fully accelerate its growth and more effectively compete in the FPGA industry, which serves a broad array of markets, including the data center, communications, industrial, automotive, aerospace and defense sectors.

This position leads business continuity and sustainability programs and delivers assurance services for the Altera's supply chain organization. The incumbent is responsible for leading supply chain risk management processes, including audits, assessments, and other projects. It also includes driving and shaping the evolution of Altera's environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy as it relates to supply chain. It provides subject matter expertise and leverages acumen, experience, and perspective to proliferate best-in-class processes and procedures. This position reports directly to the VP of Global Supply Chain.

The Supply Chain Risk/Program Manager is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Crisis Response / Event Communication

  • Serve as first responder and single voice for the Supply Chain during crisis events.

  • Lead impact assessments, coordinating efforts across the business continuity community.

  • Work closely with senior Supply Chain leaders to provide real-time situational updates.

  • Serve as corporate business continuity liaison and support tops-down initiatives.


Supply Chain Business Continuity Strategy

  • Develop and maintain long-term (1+ years) business continuity program roadmap and capabilities.

  • Conduct regular risk sensing, environmental scanning, and industry benchmarking.

  • Conduct & facilitate annual Supply Chain risk mapping exercise.

  • Establish mitigation strategies for top Supply Chain risks (i.e., geo concentration, single/sole source)

  • Drive policy, process, and system changes to achieve increased visibility/mapping of sub-tier supply chain.

  • Support the development, maintenance, and testing of Supply Chain operational business continuity plans.

  • Establish and enforce minimum expectations and requirements for supplier business continuity plans.

  • Conduct annual audit of supplier business continuity plans.

  • Build partnerships with suppliers and third parties to establish governance and reporting framework and processes to ensure that Altera complies with current and future reporting requirements.

  • Work with internal business groups to establish systematic process for supporting customer requirements for supply chain ESG reporting.

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional community of leaders responsible for ESG (environment social and governance) policies, strategy, and programs and to elevate Altera's position as an industry ESG leader.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, or related field of study with 7+ years of experience or MBA degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or related field of study with 4+ years of experience.

  • 5+ previous supply chain risk management experience. (i.e. supply chain tracing and mapping, supplier governance, supply chain disruption monitoring, business continuity planning, and ESG)

  • Experience with third party supplier risk management solutions (i.e. Supply Chain Solutions, Prewave, Moody’s, D&B, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in semiconductor industry.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $131,841.00-$210,951.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
