Team Introduction

The Intel Big Data team has made significant contributions to big data frameworks over many years, greatly impacting the industry. This team is renowned for its longstanding contributions to Apache Spark and for initiating the Apache Gluten incubating project in recent years. Through these efforts, Intel helps customers achieve not only optimal performance but also ensures stability with Intel products.

Job Responsibility

This position offers the opportunity to evaluate the latest Intel products and actively participate in the open-source community. Responsibilities include contributing source code to open-source projects, adding support for Intel product features, collaborate with other companies or customers to solve the critical issues and conducting performance evaluations on the Intel platform.

Qualifications

The candidate should possess at least a Master degree of Computer Science (or related BS/MS degree in Computer field) or a bachelor degree with at least 2 years of experience.

The candidate should have following qualifications:

• Language and fundamental skill
• candidate should be solid on at least two of the following language: Java/Scala/C/C++
• Basic English communication skills are required to collaborate with engineers from others countries
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to clearly communicate technical details and concepts
• Experience in big data frameworks such as Spark/Flink and Hadoop is a big plus
• Experience in performance optimization is a big plus
• Experience in Open Source project contribution such as Apache or Linux Foundation is a big plus
