Generative AI Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Generative AI Engineer who possesses a deep understanding of generative AI algorithms and extensive hands-on experience.

The ideal candidate will have the capability to implement generative AI models and analyze implications for HW development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize generative AI algorithms for deployment directly on hardware (bare-metal programming).
• Work extensively with large language models (LLMs) and AI frameworks such as PyTorch, translating high-level models to efficient low-level implementations.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to understand and leverage the capabilities of the HW.
• Dive deep into hardware mechanisms to optimize performance and resource utilization of AI algorithms.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI models and hardware technologies to drive innovation within the team.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges at the intersection of AI and hardware.

Mentor other team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI algorithms and large language models.
  • Proficiency with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc., and experience in translating models to run efficiently on hardware.
• Technical Skills:
  • Good understanding of hardware architectures, including GPUs, XPUs, and other accelerators.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and/or Python.
  • Experience with performance optimization and debugging at both the software and hardware levels.
• Personal Attributes:
  • Self-learner with a passion for staying updated on the latest technologies and methodologies in AI and hardware.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Working Model
